Largs Probus Club has been meeting for over 30 years. We have recently upgraded our website, so in this blog we will be giving a summary of our talks and other activities.
We meet weekly, apart from the summer months when it is fortnightly, at The Willowbank Hotel, Greenock Road, Largs, KA30 8PG. We have coffee and a chat before the meeting any time after 09.30 for a 10.00am start. Then we get the formal business done as quickly as possible so we can settle down to listen to our guest speaker. The talks cover a wide range of interests and very often we are fascinated by what we have learned.
The formal meetings are complemented by outings and special interest groups:
Bowls, Putting, Walking and Technology.
We also have Coffee Mornings in place of an invited speaker at which the members, who have come from a wide range of backgrounds, have an opportunity to give their own short talks.
